Hi,

I had an old version of DiveLogBook (version 4.0) running on my portable computer that I used to download my dive computer. It has somehow gotten corrupted and I need to re-install.

Can anyone send me a copy or point me to a site where I can get version 4.0 of DiveLogBook?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am quite desperate!

Best,

Mitch

HI Mitch-
Current DiveLogBook software is available for download from the TUSA site here. PC Logbook v4.0 can be downloaded at the above link as well.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I do know about the new version but my computer is quite old with a small hard disk and poor display and I don't have place or power to run anything with graphics like the new version has. Also I tweaked the system to get it so the interface worked consistently and want to try to avoid going through all that pain again if I can.

If I could get a copy of version 4.0 it would suit my needs. I will not need to avail myself of any tech support at all. Promise!

Hope you could find a way to send me a copy of 4.0.

Thanks for your time and understanding,

Mitch

even if you were to 'upgrade' to the new version, it (for me at least) did not import anything except the info which was downloaded from the dc and frankly I liked the old ver. 4 better than the new one since I was using it to supplement my log book, not replace it.

PC Logbook 4.0 can be downloaded in a .zip file here. This software is no longer supported and has been replaced as referenced above.

Just want to offer a big thanks to TUSA for providing such GREAT support for their equipment!

There are a lot of manufacturers out there who are on this Manufacturers Forum, but they seem to be there only to have a presence. Requests for information or assistance to go unanswered....TUSA DOES come through for its customers!

Your taking the time to assist me makes me feel like a valuable customer... and I will remember TUSA's obvious commitment to their customers the next time I purchase equipment. I will also be sure to mention it to all that I speak to!

All the best and thanks again,

Mitch

Maybe you can help me then..
Firstly, I've tried to import into the DiveLogBook my file from the PCLogBook using the instructions found on your website. When I try to use the Import function in DiveLogBook, it pops up with a dialog box which reads "Can't read specified file". This is after I save the PCLogBook file as a new filename.

Failing that, I tried hooking up my IQ-700 to the new program. It downloaded the info without any problems. However, when I tried entering in the TankSize (cuft) data, the largest number I could enter was 0.70, using metric, it would go up to 20 liters (spelled "litter" in the Environment Options). One other

Let me know what I am doing wrong or need to change to get this to work.

Hi Revvie-
At this time, PCLogBook v4.0 users are unable to import log data into the DiveLogBook v1.11. Japan is currently working on resolving this issue and when it has been resolved a new version of DiveLogBook will be published. We are sorry for the issue.

In case you uninstalled PCLogBook v4.0. You can visit the following link to download and reinstall: PC Software Download

Thanks! I look forward to a version that will work! :cool2:
