Second hand divecom

Hello I am looking for a cheap divecom i was looking at second hand options and i found some that i think are interesting. I did some research on the computers but i want other opinions on the matter. Here are the options:

-Suunto Vyper Air 80€. A little old but has everything i need for rec diving even some extras like compass and software connectivity for downloading dives lnfo. Also, 4 different buttons to navigate through the menus.

-Mares Puck Pro 90€. Extremely simple,a little bit more compact than the vyper, only one button,also has connectivity.

-Cressi Donatello 100€. I think the most modern on the list, i like the design like the mares only one button.

As you can see they are a little bit old i think the three of them use RGBM and have everything i need for rec diving, i know they are cheap but i dont want to spend too much money i prefer to spend it on dives for now

Hi, Divecom is a term scarcelly used. It's known here as PDC (Personal Dive Computer).
Suunto is a little conservative and cannot be reset to factory. Besides, there is no mention in the manual how to change the battery. Though its straightforward, the manual says "take it to a service center to have the battery replaced".
Get a PDC with Nitrox, avoid those that are air only.

Suuntos of that era are well known for failing due to a defective depth sensor. I would not spend any money on one without a full pressure test first. Actually, even then I would hesitate to buy one as they are prone to failure without warning and it might leave you without a computer in the middle of a trip.

I actually own a Suunto Cobra 1. I have been diving it for over 26 years and it has never failed, locked me out or had a defective depth sensor.

There's an exception to every rule. I hope you didn't just wake the Suunto gremlin.

I used a Vyper circa 2000-2015, easily more than a thousand dives in gauge mode. I stopped using it when I got a Perdix. I pulled it out of storage last year and found it was flashing 200' or something on the surface. Nothing lasts forever. I would guess at least 25 percent of the Cobras and Zoops I pressure test at work fail.

I have been diving a Sunnto Cobra for over 26 years and it has never failed. Suunto bashing is a favorite pass time around here especially from people that have never owned one.
My local dive shop is a Mares dealer, so I dive with others that have a Mares computer. Either is a good choice
I don't know anything about the Cressi one except Cressi is a good well known company. I would probably go with the Cressi because it's the newest and from the Cressi website it has a Nitrox mode.
