A diver working on an aquaculture operation in southern Chile died on Wednesday, the second diver fatality in the industry in less than a week.

The diver was working on a mussel farm near Hornoprien, according to Carlos Correa, the head of the homicide squad in Puerto Montt.

The police are investigating the cause of death to determine if it was work-related, Correa said in a video announcing the fatality.
