I am attempting to plan a dive day where hopefully we can do two tanks.

The primary dive will be to Blue Heron Bridge and given the proximity of slack tide that makes this dive a success, we will only be able to use one tank on this dive.

Any suggestions on where we should expend our second tank?

If you specifically want a second shore dive there are options but at some distance and I will let others more knowledgable reply.

But if your dive day is open, a same day boat dive is a good option for a multidive day trip to WPB. Depending on the day of the week and the time for slack high tide at the bridge it may be possible to do an early am dive at the bridge followed by afternoon boat dive or vise versa.

Lauderdale by the Sea is about an hour south and is a good dive. Gold Coast Scuba or Force-E in Pompano can give you information. Blue Heron Bridge is one of the only shore dives in northern Palm Beach County.... there's rumors that the old Worth Ave Pier debris can be dove from shore, but currents can be brisk. The Force-E shop on Blue Heron Blvd can give you info

Another vote for a drive down to Lauderdale by the Sea for a beach dive. Lots of terrific restaurants within walking distance after your dives and if you need to stay over, they have lots of budget-friendly cute old inns. Gold Coast Scuba on Commercial Blvd. can help you with info.

IF you get the tides right, sometimes you can do a night dive followed by a morning dive, then catch the next night dive.
