Does anyone know if Seavision is still in business. I sent an e-mail without response and called their toll free number which gave me a message " number no longer in service"

I am curious about this as well.

Both my wife and I dive with SeaVision prescription masks and may need them to be updated as we get older.

I just called their number, (800) 732-6275, and got an answer.

They finally got back to me and I ordered a new Rx mask. Will let the group know how it turns out.

Glad to hear they got back to you. I have two masks from them and they work well. Just make sure you've had a very recent eye exam before sending in your order.

I've used one for years and love it. Last year I accidently broke part of my mask, and they replaced it very quickly for a reasonable amount. Always friendly and available on the phone too from the times I've called them. Plus I like that they are a short ways away in St. Pete.

I just received a new mask from Seavision and I can say they are just wonderful! It took them less than 1 week to get me a new mask in my prescription.

I tried other masks with just the diopters and while they "work", they are nowhere near as good as getting your actual prescription in a lens with the correct cylinder and axis in addition to sphere (diopter). Clear as a bell!

I also get the "gauge readers" in +250 and I really like the way they put them to the inside of the mask near your nose. This way, when are looking straight ahead and down the two gauge readers kind of blend into one making it easy to see a total picture.

I'm an underwater photographer, and I've tried a bunch of different prescription masks, but Seavision is the best for me.

Have you tried Prescription Dive masks in La Mesa, CA? If yes, how do they compare to Seavision?

Seavision use their own masks. PDM will do ANY mask. If you have your own mask, just send it to PDM who will do any prescription. SV have a more limited range. I’ve used both-they both do excellent work.

Thanks. Seavision can accommodate some masks outside their own line. BYOM
