Allison Finch:
I was there.
I entered three photos in the underwater photo contest and all three won something. A second and third in macro (beaten by a photographer I was proud to compete with), and a third in the General catagory. This was my first time competing as I am usually too lazy to concider it. Two of the judges were Richie and John. NICE!!

Congrats Allison,

Care to share images of the photos that won?

I had a great time at SEAS Expo, too. We had a booth and met lots of great folks.

In regard to other shows, the Beneath the Sea show at the Meadowlands (outside NYC) is a great show. SEveral times the size of SEAS, about 15,000 divers attend. Closer than Chicago (though not knocking that show).

My pics were of a filefish that was living inside a big jellyfish. I took it on Sipadan Island in Borneo early Sept this year.

Also a pic of a pygmy seahorse fron PNG

And, a picture of a diver and sunburst.

<sigh> I'll get my lazy arse in gear and resize the images. Then, I'll need to figure how to post them......I would be interested in some feedback.

Allison I only skimmed the photos so I would need to see them, whenever you get a chance. I believe the gallery is back up here so you upload them to the gallery then use the link icon to post them in the thread.

Another option is to set up an account someplace to host the images. I am using Photobucket.com, not much there at the moment but I have a few things there.

Oh BTW I signed up for that photo seminar in December.
