Seacure & Poseidon

Just got my Poseidon Jetstream today. Looks great, cannot wait to use. On my other regs, I use and love the Seacure mouthpieces. Looked on the Seacure web site and didn't see Poseidon regulators listed anywhere for compatibility. Can a Seacure mouthpiece be used with the Poseidon Jetstream? If so which on?

Hi, I'm not certain which model, I'll go home tonight and see if I can find any numbers stamped on it, but when I had a Jetstream I used a Seacure Mouthpiece on it just fine. I seem to remember molding it, then after it cooled, having to heat up the part that goes on the reg just a touch to help get it onto the second stage. It worked fine.

Seacure works on my Xstream just fine, but you do have to heat the end that attaches to the reg. I looked for the package, but I don't have it any more. I will be going to my LDS tomorrow and will ask them for the model #.

Ok cool. Its a relief to know that I can use a Seacure on it. Just let me know what model and I'll get to work.

I used to have a jetstream several years ago as well. I had to order a special sea cure, that they don't seem to list anymore. My best advice is to measure the orifice and match it up with the one that corresponds. Check them out here SeaCURE Home Page

From their site: SeaCURE Mouthpiece Regulator Compatibility

[SIZE=+1] If not sure of the correct size, simply measure the retention lip on the air orifice of the regulator. Or, if possible, try both SeaCure I and SeaCure II on the unit in question to see which fits. Almost all regulators fall into two general sizes with some in each group being slightly larger or smaller than the average.

Standard Lip – (1-1/4” x ¾&#8221 takes a SeaCure I
Oversize Lip – (1-7/16 x 7/8&#8221 takes a SeaCure II[/SIZE]

The PROFESSIONAL model will work. Just follow Jimmer's instructions above. It is a tight fit, but it will work. Good Luck.
