Seacrest Cove 2 Dives Sunday June 11th, 8 am

The water taxi season has started again, and we need volunteers to help clean the boundary line around the fishing pier. The boundary rope is an important safety feature to help divers stay a minimum of 150 feet away from the fishing pier. The summer kelp growth is covering the line and we need to clean it off.
I will be there Sunday, June 11th at 8 AM. The first dive will be at 9, the second dive will be at 11 or noon, the third dive will be Pegasus??

I'll bring four of my patented "Rope Cleaning Tools" and some new tools I'm working on.
Volunteers should bring an old pair of gloves and basic scuba gear. The basic tasks will be cleaning the line, moving some anchor blocks, maintaining buoys, and finding an anchor block.

Come on out and join me, many hands make light work. JD Rowe 425-293-2563

I've been meaning to do get involved with this. I'll plan on being there Sunday at 8 and will help out with whatever you need help with.

Looking forward to it, and thanks for organizing these things, a lot of us enjoy Cove 2, and I'm happy to have the opportunity to pitch in.

Great, I'll see you there Doug. I'll be easy to find, I'm driving a Blue Dodge Diesel truck....

Many thanks for all the help today.
We had ten divers working on the line. Dave Steding, Mark Glastetter, Randy Pedersen, Carrie _____?, Pat Harmon, Ed Gullekson, Andy Eckhardt, Joyce & Fritz Merkel, and myself.
We cleaned the cove two line from Olive's den up to the shallows, cleaned off the floats, flipped all the blocks, etc. We cleaned the cove three line. We also replaced the missing buoy in Cove two.
I was unable to move the anchor back into position, the -2 tide was way too low. I will have to return with one of my lift drums at high tide.

My compliments to the divers who gave their time and efforts today to help out the dive community!

Thank you all for your efforts -- I unfortunately was not able to join you, but appreciate the work that goes into maintaining the boundaries.
