SEACREST DOCK IMPROVEMENTS OPEN HOUSE - Thursday Jan 15th 7pm
Parks, King County to host open house on planned improvements
Seattle Parks and Recreation, the King County Ferry District, and the King County Marine Division are hosting an open house from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, January 15, on the planned improvements to Seacrest Dock and the intention of the Ferry District to provide year-round Elliott Bay Water Taxi service. The open house, which will open with a brief presentation at 7:30 p.m., will take place at Alki Community Center, 5817 SW Stevens St.
The year-round Water Taxi service is slated to begin in 2010 and to continue to operate from Seacrest Park until a permanent site has been selected.
