catherine96821:Ron, average is maybe 80 ft but many days it is over 100 ft. When you all come Jb and I will have a boat and we will take you at incoming tide, for the best viz. I admit, I shot those on program. I cannot think too well at depth...or topside. Actually, my buttons are giving me some trouble sticking "not grabbing" on the dial that moves from program to manual and other modes. If it sticks, I am SOL, so I have been leaving it on program. But thanks for the tip...I will try shallow, and I am sending the housing off I guess. I was hoping for a local solution. Faster shutter speed, I can do that. Ron, any wild guesses on a better shutterspeed for inside, first shot? It is frustrating, cause I don't have a lot of time to experiment with a single tank at that depth... I always have too much to do in there.
In the meantime, anyone is welcome to hang out at my slip...order pizza, etc.
Wow, an offer to dive on your boat! How alluring!
As for shutter speeds, I guess my first question is what settings were used. I'd say that 1/125 in shutter priority would result in a fish stopping speed. The exposure in the first shot looks fine to me! Overall the exposure the camera is selecting looks good, you just want a bit more control of your aperture, and or shutter for some shots.
So what kinda boat are you thinking about? 65' open transome Newton?
Happy Mommy's day BTW Catherine!
