I know it isn't what you meant, but the first thought that came to my mind is - does it work better if you have large spaces between your teeth? :D

I hope that's a "before" photo.:D

Oh man, that is a funny picture. Someone definitely needs a couple of grand invested in their mouth.

I had one but I took it off during my trip to Thailand. I'm so glad I brought my old mouthpiece with me, which is one that goes all the way around, not one with the two little things to grab in your teeth. I found that the Seacure irritated my bottom right gum. It seems the reg kind of pulls down that way in my mouth.

I'd recommend you invest in the universal fit stainless steel 2nd-stage swivel regulator hose from Atomic Aquatics, $ 70 @ Scubatoys............ I've installed (5) of them on the primary 2nd stages of 5 of my regs....combined with the new generation Hi-Flow Seacure mouthpieces, they're AWESOME ! It will eliminate the tendency of the 2nd stage to push/pull in your mouth (assuming your 2nd stage hose isn't WAY off lengthwise, otherwise you'll want to order a custom length Atomic swivel hose) however, all 5 of my so-equipped regs use the 'standard' length Atomic hose and this works just fine.

Or, I could just use the mouthpiece I'm using, which is fine, and save myself a whole heap of $.

Kudos to Seacure! I bought mine in Key West back in 2002 when I bit through
my mouth piece. My jaw fatigue disappeared permanently from that day on, it only
took me about 30 minutes at the hotel to trim and fit it for the next days diving.
Well the old reg is gone now, I tried my new reg, Mares Abyss, I said heck NO!
Fortunately I kept my Seacure, re-fitted and it is on the new reg, I'm happy again.
$30, I would say has been a great investment!

...my suggestion was based on the assumption you'd have preferred to keep using your Seacure, but if you actually prefer your other mouthpiece, I'm glad you've achieved happiness.

...with respect to saving a lot of $, a $70 comfy reg hose struck me as rather minor $ for anyone living in New Jersey who can afford a dive vacation in Thailand.

How do you know I could afford it? Maybe I sold my firstborn?:D Truthfully, the trip to Thailand cost less than a week in the Caribbean.

I just won a seacure mouthpiece at a treasure hunt, But according to seacure website they don't make one for my Oceanic Zeta??? Anyone else have this problem....Or suggestion what I can do
