does anyone know if tropical storm karen is affecting the venice area now or maybe tomorrow ? I live in Orlando and planing on taking the boat down tomorrow to do some tooth hunting and would just hate to get all the way there to find out that the seas are blown out. thanks in advance.

was down by the beach this morning seas about 1'
Fl West was out
I'm planning to try a beach dive tomorrow morning

Was out with FL West today. 1 foot swells with a little bit of a surge at the bottom, for the first dive at 8:00 am. Second dive the seas were noticeably calmer at 12:00 noon. Vis at the top to about 20 feet down was 25 - 30 feet the bottom 10 feet vis went down to 10 feet not bad for Oct. came back with 3 megs. Should not be a problem so come on down.

Thank you guys for the replies and info, I didn't get to make it down, the buddy I was bringing down decided to cancel on me five minutes after I hooked up the boat and started to load it. hopefully I can get down there soon though, I'm starting to have venice withdrawls. Thanks again.
