I'm a Fish!
Alrighty, someone I know, a friend of mine, clearly not me, seems to have developed a *ahem* mild rash after her last dive. Now this person, being new to the coast has never encountered something like this before. One wonders what exactly might have caused it, and what can be done to prevent it in the future.

My friend thanks you in advance.

Not giving out much info there. May just be from a poorly fitting wet suit or you , umm, your friend, may have caught ocean cooties! Latex allergy is a possability or a preservatave on new gear.....More info would make this easer ya know.

I always wear a tight skin, in hopes that it'll protect me from "sea lice," which are usually jellyfish larvae; some argue that the skin will trap them and make them worse?

I also carry venigar, hydrocortisone ointment and calamine lotion, all of which seem to help. Venigar fist, then try the H-ointment on one spot, c-lotion on the other, to see which helps the most.

Very warm water soaks also seem to help.
