When MX10's flood, they often are not worth repairing, expecially if they have been allowed to sit awhile since the damage.
Remove the batteries, rinse with fresh water, dry, and hope for the best.

I am a big SubAquatic fan, they even do some of my maintenance, and I am in Brazil!!!
