Nitrodog:
I'm planning to dive with them in February. I've read some good reviews on them but those are all pretty "dated". Can anyone give me some recent reviews on this operator. So far the communication with them has been excellent but info from this board would be helpful. - Thanks.

One of the reviews is probably from my wife and I. We got a Open Water certs from them in Aug/04. Great operation, I wouldn't hesitate to dive with them again. We dealt with Steve, Mark, Erwin, and Willebrordus (Freddie for short :) ) and had a great time. I think you will be very happy with S.E. Aruba Fly & Dive.

Btw, unless things have changed, they're the sole source of Nitrox on the island. The other dive ops get it from them.

Enjoy

What's this about the government and police being corrupt in Aruba. Is this just a vicious rumour by worlddiver ?

Is there a lot of corruption there ? I was told it was a very safe island ? Can anyone tell me about it please ?

No worries, it is a VERY safe island, very little crime at all. We dove with SeAruba last October and loved them. Our dives last year were our first dives after our certification and they were very helpful in easing my nerves. But we were also on dive boats with people with 100s of dives and it worked great. They are a wonderful group of guys, very funny, good stories. Will pick up at up at your hotel or TS and take you down to their operations. They usually have drinks on board for btwn dives.

I just used them on my trip to Aruba in September. SEAruba was great. Very friendly. Nice new boat. I really loved Aruba. They were also very prompt picking me up from my hotel. I left my hotel on time, while people waiting for Pelican were still sitting in the lobby, after their ride was over 40 minutes late.
