Scubapro has a limited lifetime warranty on regs provided they are serviced annually by an authorized dealer. I'm being quoted 25-30 dollars per stage, plus parts for this annual service. That could add up to about $100 for 1st, 2nd stage and air2. Multiple that by my family of 4 recreational divers and it gets right up there every year. I could almost buy new regs every couple years for that, I mean what does the warranty cover anyway? Picture General Motors giving a lifetime warranty on your car provided you have it completely rebuilt every year at your cost. The warranty seems to become rather meaningless doesn't it?
What's your opinion? Those of you with Scubapro equipment, what do you do?
