Scubapro Spectra skirt repair or replacement?

Scubapro Spectra appears to have a weak point where the strap attaches to the mask skirt. Basically the attachment point is small and the silicone stretches there and eventually gets fatigue cracks and snaps (see attached image).

Has anyone made any successful repairs to these?
Are spare skirts available?
Anyone in Tasmania, Australia have a broken unit anywhere but the skirt they want to throw away so I can cannibalise it?

I have fixed masks in a pinch with stainless steel wire (lock wire/seizing wire). If there is enough material in the attachment point that you can make a hole and thread the wire through, that might work.

The Spectra has one of the softest skirts I have ever seen in person. I guess the downside is that it doesn't hold up over time. I think any repair you make is probably going to fail again at some point so plan accordingly.
 
Looks like an unaceptable amont of meat there even for reasonable tension

Scubapor should be notified, cough up a new mask
