I'm looking for a outlet for Scubapro service kits. At the time I need a inlet filter for a MK15 first stage. Would anyone be kind enough to offer assistance?
Thanks

Inlet filters are a fairly standardised item so theres no need to buy the Scubapro part unless you are concerned about a warranty issue, just pop it out by releasing the retainer and see if its a conical type or a flat disc type, generally you can then just order a replacement of that type from any shop that sells accessories from wholesalers like Trident diving equipment.

Don't know where you're located but in the US Scubapro doesn't sell service kits to ordinary humans and if any shop spoke up and told you they would sell you one, they might get spanked. Never-the-less, if you go to DecoStop, there is a mysterious thread where you can find out where to get them if you can read between the lines.

Yes, Scubapro makes it hard to get parts, but not impossible. I searched for the misterious thread, but couldn't find it. If you get a chance and don't mind, how about sending it to me?
Thanks

Sorry, I remembered it wrong. They were Aqualung and Apeks rebuild kits rather than SP. Sorry to get your hopes up.

Yep, those are easy to get. Thanks for checking for me.

Hello Ranger,

I have searched through my files and I do not have a manual for the MK 15, however, I looked through several of the other SP diagrams to discover the filter for all of them is the same-SP part number 01028109 (for the MK5,10,16,18,20.) So if you can find a filter for one of those models you should be set. Alternatively, you could try a filter for a clone of one of the aforementioned 1st stages. See the Sticky thread "First stage clone chart"

That filter is a standard conical filter that's available in the Trident catalog. Any dive shop should have one. You can also find Mk15 kits on ebay fairly regularly; they tend to be a little pricey, but they are there. The MK15 takes a unique seat and set of bushings, so you need the specific kit if you are doing a complete rebuild.

See this thread: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/do-yourself-diy/259118-ordering-trident.html
I suggest to call Scubatoys 887-728-2243 and ask for advice because:
None of the Trident sizes are exact, see Trident catalog pg 14-the closest filter being a
Conical filter AA70 or a
Flat filter AA71
Along with filter you may also need Star AA72

One should note the Table of contents is at the end of the catalog on pg 303

You can spend a lot of time in that candy store; Matt, check out the Backpacks on page 35
