Tecnicamente el aqualung es mejor, la primera etapa es balanceada con lo que ellos llaman sistema Air turbo, es full compacta. La segunda etapa es balanceada tambien aunque no es ajustable. En resumen el regulador en principio es mas suave en todas las condiciones, porque al no ser ajustable al mantenerse todas las presiones al vaciarse el tanque el regu mantiene la tension y los ajustes de los resortes que de por si son mas pequenos en la segunda etapa por ser balanceada, lo unico es el tema repuestos pero alla no creo que sea problema. Olvida los sherwood, dacor, genesis y toda esas baratijas. He oido bastantes comentarios inclusives en este forum que la segunda etapa viene descalibrada de fabrica, pero eso se arregla con una ajustadita al orificio que se hace en 10 segundos ( siempre sobre 1"-1,2" hde h2o de vacio).Te digo esto porque he tenido cantidad de reguladores y ahora lo unico que me compraria seria aqualung, apeks o SP. Es importante tambien estar pendiente quien te puede reparar los equipos en venezuela, al final me puse yo a reparar los mios, te clavan y te los dejan mal.

You should have no problems getting your aqualung regs serviced anywhere in the world. Do you have actual numbers to back up that claim Arnaud? I think I see more AL dealers than I see SP, but that may just be Florida. I wonder how we really find out.

I think either will be fine. Pete - I'm in Florida, but I see more SP dealers than Aqualung. I think this is just a perception and coincidence from each individuals location. I would be interested to know of the offical #'s on worldwide service (although I won't be going worldwide to get service)
