Anyone know where I might be able to find the black plastic top the snaps on the MK25. Seems like it popped off on the last dive trip. Not sure why, but I did have the reg serviced a few days before the trip so I guess it wasn't seated correctly. I can continue to dive with the reg but now it looks like a part is missing.

If I have no luck here, I'm guessing I'll need to go back to the LDS.

Thanks

Yes, read my post on the black plastic cap(today September 7). You will have to get one from a dealer for free(it should be) or buy one. This cap falls off because it cannot be removed from the 1st stage without destroying at least one of the three inner plastic outcroppings that "snap" it to the reg. I have to replace mine with a brand new one every year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after service. I am going to demand a new one each year from now on. You're right, it looks stupid without it. It should be improved by ScubaPro. Before you install a new cap, take a look at it carefully. Then think of a way to remove it without destroying it. There isn't one..... Good luck!

Or..............look like a harden diver who has gotten past the esthetics of a pointless plastic cap and don't worry about replacing it ever again. This will however, require learning to love your mk25 for it's pure functionality and getting over it's slight loss in the looks department. Which, unless you're a gymnast you probably can't see while diving and so has no effect on your diving experience.

I just pulled the main body trim boot off my 8 year old Mk20 (one more time) and all three tabs are still in place. It was still clean so I might put it back on.

Well, I didn't want to loose it so I put it back on.
