Cute!

Checking in my garage for parts I found a 'brand new' M5 (2nd Gen. it seems) paired with a MK10.

The M5 seems to be about the model of the OP, has the same cover , the case has also just one hole in the center, same diaphragm and ring and metal orifice. Just the OPs 2nd has already a Venturi Vane, so maybe there was a third generation of M5s before the M5 Polar production in 1992 began.........

My one is from '91, would be interesting to know the Serial Number of the OPs M5.

I will check how well this model can be adjusted, of course probably not as fine as M5 Polars or M50s......

Can't find the cam lobe separatly, but I could canibalize one of my M5 Polars, I have quite a lot, and send it to Chile or whereever if the OP takes the shipping costs.

I like the idea that this piece of history is still diving somewhere in the world.

So send a PM if interested.......

its just brand new! so pretty! what's a PM? not sure I got what you are saying. Am probably going to build a cam from any plastic thing, dont have a 3D printing machine nor do I want to develop the skills to create the model :)

@axxel57 you are a gem!
@phgachoud , just click on axxel57's name in any post, and in the bottom corner of the window that pops up, click "Send Direct Message". That's a "DM", and will be a private exchange between the two of you that even the Moderators cannot see. Maybe you two can cut a deal.

Here finally some pics of a M50 for those who might be interested.........
