Hi guys,

I am planning to get my own kit but cannot really decide which regulator set to choose. After some research the two options are the MK11 C350 and MK11 S560. Could someone please give me some advice?

The S560 is balanced, but the C350 (with MK11) has excellent reviews, looks more durable, and is slightly more suitable for travelling. I live in Singapore these days so I am only diving in warm waters :)

Many thanks in advance.

The best value and best performance and durability is the MK17/S560 if it is available in your area. SP recently reduced the price for this combination in our area, EMEA region, and it will be most difficult to beat it. We are standardizing on the MK17/S560 in our training fleet at our dive center and it is working out great (we also have Atomic Z2 and B2, etc. in addition to SP MK25/S600 in the fleet).

If this MK17/S560 isn't available in your area, I'd go with the MK11/S560 combination.

Neither. Go with MK 25 G650

There is no such thing as a G-650. There is a G-250V (replaced by the G-260) and an X-650 (last of the Darth Vader regs) but no G-650.

Save yourself some coin and see if you can find a Subgear SG-30. It is C300 with a MK-11 first. It should be on discount because Scubapro discontinued the brand.
