Hi, i bought these one, Scubapro Mk25 Evo G260 + Octopus R195 06DE
are the also manuals available?
regards

It's just a link on their web site. This is the parent directory for the Scubapro docs & I didn't need a password to access the folders:

Dropbox - Scubapro schematics, Parts, Service

Probably a problem with that Dropbox account. The link goes to the Dropbox message: "We can't find what you're looking for."
The old link results in the same message today. 2 days ago the old link went to a password protected Dropbox

Anyone else here who has a service manual for Scubapro MK10 and MK10 Plus?

I had to re-think the policy on Dropbox use several weeks ago due to several DB's using and abusing the FREE links and downloads Vintage Double Hose was providing for them. Over 6GB of manuals and catalogs are still available at the link below or you can go to the main page of the website, scroll to the bottom and click the Manuals and Catalogs link.

Thank you for the link.
I am presently considering purchasing a Dacor double hose regulator to use while I record video and your links have many of the answers that I was seeking.

I'd explore other options before purchasing. In my experience DACOR double hose regulators and 7' long snorkels breathe just about the same.

There are 2 major reasons not to go with a Dacor, first off, like Bryan said, they are poor performing in the best of condition and condition is the rub. To get a DH back to anywhere near acceptable for "normal" diving, ie. diving other than for the sake of diving an old reg, replacing ALL of the rubber parts is a must. No one to my knowledge is reproducing parts for Dacor DH regs and any NOS parts you find are going to be subpar. So even if you find a Dacor in reasonable condition (many are) you are not going to be able to service it. Other brands like Nemrod and Healthways have the same issues. While I am at it, very few (read rare and expensive) DHs had provisions for Octos, LP inflators or HP gauges. Again, fun to dive to be different but for a working reg, you will want at least a SPG. I dive these kinds of regs on a regular basis so I do enjoy them but you have to be practical and use the right tool for the job, besides most dive ops are not going to let you on a boat without a SPG, Octo and inflator. That's the bad news, now to good.

Bryan at VHD is reproducing all the rubber and many other replacement parts for US Divers and Voit regs, most of them can easily be restored to better than new with upgraded replacement parts, making them better than when they were new but since none of the common regs had LP or HP ports that problem remains. There are several of ways around this depending on your needs. If just a SPG will do, then a "banjo" can be used with most USD regs, although it must have a long yoke (these can be purchased ). If you want a DH with all the modern ports then you have 2 choices, modify a vintage USD reg or purchase a new Argonaut Kraken (the AL Mistral that was sold in the early 2000s is a POS so avoid it). If you go the modify a vintage reg route, then your 2 best choices are a USD DA Aquamaster (DAAM) or Royal Aquamaster (RAM). Either are common, easy to upgrade and everything you need to make a first class DH reg out of one is available. Of the 2 I would go with a DAAM, they are more common and usually sell for somewhat less than a RAM and since you are changing all the parts that differentiate them, it makes no sense to buy the more expensive one. The mods you will have to make are "bolt on" and do not in any way damage the reg so it can easily be returned to OEM by simply removing the new parts and putting the old ones back on.

Thank you Herman. You always take the time to provide a clear, accurate, and informed post. DM David, it would be well worth your while to spend a bit of time perusing www.vintagedoublehose.com or at least the vintage diving section of SB.

Unless you are actively interested in restoring a vintage double hose, the best way to get a high performing, practical-for-modern-diving double hose is to get a kraken. You certainly can buy a DA aquamaster, then add a phoenix nozzle, high performance 2nd stage, and all the rubber parts, but by the time you pay for all these parts you'll probably be at or above the price of a kraken.
