Any thoughts?

The knighthawk seems nice enough, but it really lacks functional pockets, whereas the ProQD offers 2 nice, easy to use pockets, plus Seaquest's integrated knife grommet for their BCD knife.

The knighthawk is also back inflate vs. the ProQD's Back+side inflate.

Thoughts or opinions from folks who've used them? How well does the ProQD dump air vs. the Knighthawk?

I've been diving w/ ProQD for 3 years now, & love it for the features that I was looking for: swival shoulder straps, great pockets & plenty of D rings, just plain fantastic fit. What I didn't look for, but especially like about it, is the two dump valves (aside from the usual one attached to the inflator hose) - one on the top of the left shoulder & one down by my left "bun", each w/ a cool knob & pull string. I find I have the best horizontal position & balance of everyone I dive with. Frankly, I don't really understand all the hype about back inflate, because this BC never feels constricting, & I have done wrecks, deep, shallow, cold & warm water diving, & always feel enormous control & balance.
... (no, I don't sell 'em or anything )

The ProQD dumps air nicely. At the most, a single roll of the shoulders is all it takes to dump the last few dribbles of air.

The pockets are a bit tricky to open w/o looking until you get used to it.

The bladder only really inflates in the back unless you are pumping in huge amounts of air. Even when fully inflating the BCD on the surface until the overpressure pops I don't get any squeeze.

The ProQD fits me like a glove -- no tank wobble even when doing underwater acrobatics. That might or might not be true for you. Get the BCD that fits you best.
