I have a pair of XL Scubapro jet fins with the spring strap. I used them with my dry suit tec boots size 10.
The strap is so tight that I need help to put them on.

I was thinking about buying the halcyon spring, should I buy a size bigger than the factory spring or should I stick with the same size, are the halcyon springs going to be easier to put on if I stick with the same size?

Any help would be really appreciated

I had the exact same problem. Ended up getting XS Scuba/Highland spring straps that are much easier to stretch and don’t fit as tight. The Highland website tells you how to measure in order to pick the correct size out of three size options:

How to select the proper size Highland Technical Spring Straps?

  • Insert your foot into the fin pocket while wearing a boot
  • Measure from the attachment point on one side of the fin, around your heel, to the other side
  • Choose the spring straps with an overall length that is approximately 1 inch shorter than this measured distance

No problemo here
