Is it me or is the scubapro Mk series regulator manual written by a 7th grader?

Sounds like the sort of thing that happens when a guy in Taiwan copies a German product and translates the manual into Chinese English and then sells his product under an OEM deal to an Italian manufacturer who has the manual translated into Italian English and then the product is sold to an American distributor who has the manual translated into American English (wow, that's a real oxymoron!).

Not that anything like this ever happens in real life, of course....

Maybe it wasn't written by a 7th grader but for a 7th grader.

the best writers know that you have to consider your audience.

Of course the severely over-aged mental 7th graders that most need to knowledge would refuse to read anything.

I had a friend years ago that would steadfastly refuse to look at the instructions for ANYTHING until after he finished building / installing it.

It takes all kinds.

Well, you know the saying "If you design foolproof equipment, only a fool will use it!"

So DIR divers who use downstream regs are fools...
(piston aside of course)

Funny, the DIR instructor stuck a scubapro S600 in my mouth during a modified S drill...7th grader?

have you ever glanced at the poseidon catalog?
