One of the improvements of the G2 over the Galileo is the firmware update process. Even if you corrupt the file on the G2 you can just reconnect your G2 to your desktop as a disk and just replace the corrupted file.Thanks for the information, I will give this a try later. Quick question are there any written instructions from Scubapro on the process, when you mention potential disk corruption that worries me, you would expect they have clearly written instructions on the upgrade process to ensure this doesn't happen?.
