If I don't replace it does it effect the performance under water?

Hi I understand your question because on that particular reg it is very confusing. Normally the max/ min (predive) is on the casing by the lever. Simple.but on this reg it is underneath the lever. So when you select forward (anticlockwise turn) to max it exposes the min lable ! So yes. When you can read MIN. It is actually on maxHi, stupid first Scubapro A700 owner question about the viva adjustment.
If it is showing Max or Min does this mean it is at max. or min. ?
Maybe this may be clearer, if the Viva lever is away from the face it reads
Min, but is this really Min or Max?It is not clear anywhere if have found.
