Does anyone have any experience with the Scubapro A700/MK17 and Ice Diving (0C and below H2O temps)? I have already learned that the MK25 is not a good choice. Thanks!

I know the MK17 is awesome cold water Reg. I have heard good things about the A700. I dive the MK17/G250V which so far has been a great reg. I have had it in waters down to 38F without problem.

The MK17 certainly has a great cold water reputation, and the A700 is a metal reg so it should have excellent heat transfer for freeze resistance.

This is my reg setup. I have dove in air temps below 0c but water temps were 4c. No problems at all with freeze-up.

I suspect in Canada, the Mk17 outsells the Mk25. Just my guess.
