Hey,

I am looking into purchasing 2 video lights for my Canon 5D mkIV shooting 16-35mm WA.

I have been offered the BigBlue VL15000P Pro Mini and the SUPE Scubalamp V6K pro at around a similar price range.

On paper the Scubalamp unit looks more appealing, but it's 3,000 lumens shy of the BigBlue.

I do all my diving around Indonesia.

Wondered if anyone here had experience with these 2 side by side, or individually? Which would you buy?

Regards

Tom

I shoot a 5d4 and if I was going to add a bunch of light I would get a Kraken. If I am doing video I do custom WB and ambient light. It makes it much easier to switch between video and still.

Lumens claimed are a bit of a marketing point and not always as "real world" as we'd like. It can make for a difficult comparison.

I'm very happy overall with my Big Blue lights,no experience with the other you listed.
