Their S/H used to be free. I don't know when they starts to charge it?

Wonder why Triple-L felt they needed the new web site? Looks nicer, anyway...

...and definitely worth checking out. I've been trying to order a Laguna bag through their old web site, and it's been showing "out of stock" for some time now.

The Laguna appears to be in stock through the new web site... I just ordered it at the same price, and only $11.84 shipping by UPS (vice the $12.50 S&H fee through the old web site).

that answers an important question then... what about custom wetsuits?

For custom wetsuits order, we now can proceed orders for Hybrid wetsuits.

Please send your inquiry to our sales department: sales(at)scubal.com, we will get back to you shortly with details.

Our custom wetsuit order system on scubaL.com is going to be launched, until then orders of custom wetsuits will be processed through email.

Hi Hoosier--

As I remember, Triple-L used to claim that "shipping" was free. But then they charged a hefty "handling fee," or something like that. Now their old web site is just showing a $12.50 S&H fee.

But the new web site is showing a slightly lower shipping fee, at least for the Laguna bag I just ordered.

At least now the fee is out in the open...

After ordering a Laguna bag off the new web site yesterday, I just got an e-mail from Triple-L telling me that it's out of stock. Doh... just like the old web site still shows.

Since their stockage level at their shipping facility in the States always seems to be a critical factor, I'd advise folks to check the old web site (www.triple-l.biz), which shows item availability.

Oh, well... the Laguna bag should be shipped within 20 days.

Hey Marek K,

You must be amazed at their new web store the first time!!! It is a good info to the potential buyer, "go back to old one." I am looking for their new hybrid wetsuit....

Thanks,

This S&H has been eliminated from our http://store.triple-l.biz site also and is no longer applicable.

What is the difference between store.triple-l.biz, and ScubaL.com?

Is one more stateside and one more Asian market? Is it a reseller?

Inquiring minds want to know...
Very, very good question.

Triple-L's old web site, www.triple-l.biz, was shut down several months ago... users are automatically re-directed now to www.ScubaL.com.

So the two sites you cited appear to be the only two now.

They both look like they're run by Triple-L, or now ScubaL.

Store.triple-l.biz calls itself the "Triple-L International Web Store," and it looks like it's still operational. It gives shipping information for both within the U.S. (they have a stock facility near Chicago, I think), and internationally.

I can't find much specific shipping information on ScubaL.com.

Most products are the same on both sites, and prices look the same. But I see one significant exception, in kids' BC's: Store.triple-l.biz only offers the Neo BC for kids, while ScubaL.com only offers the Juvi BC for kids.

The idea that one is a reseller seems logical. Except I seem to remember that Triple-L charged their few local dealers the same prices that customers could get direct from the Internet -- that made being a local dealer distincly unprofitable.

I know that Jack Cummins, in the post before yours, is a (the?) sales rep at the company's factory in Vietnam. And he references ScubaL.com, so that must be an official site.

When was the last time anyone ordered, and using which site?
