Scubaboard Mobile on my Crackberry

On a blackberry... It helps to keep the URL for the Mobile style linked in your favorites.

Ok SO a little more posting via sb mobile and I have realized there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason for what cached page comes up. I posted in a thread, went to subscribed threads it showed me as the last poster YEAH right? No, I navigate to another thread, go back to the subscribed thread page and am greeted with a cached page from 45 minutes ago, wth! I am going to throw my crackberry out the window, anybody have firefox I can run on here?

howard... or anyone else using these PDA's...

can't seem to get the "Scubaboard Mobile" "skin" working on my blackberry. it just shows up regular full screen. even when I scroll down and click on Scubaboard mobile at the bottom of the page in the skin chooser.

I can't seem to get the Style 81 above link to work either...


any suggestions.

I sometimes use the Mobile skin on my laptop when I'm in a low bandwidth situation. Since I switched to firefox, the mobile skin will not load. it seems to always load the default skin no matter if I use the quick style chooser, or type in the URL styleid=81. Any firefox geeks out there?

I am having the problem with the cache not refreshing

Does not seem like a browser option to force a reload
On each page w/o a manual refresh

Any solution?

Having to manually refresh each thread bites

can any of the board admins not look into this problem? It seems to only be happening with Scubaboard.

Mine always pulls up an old page, but keeps me logged in and I don't think it puts that "posted from a mobile device " disclaimer.

It happened on my old Pearl, my new Curve and Mike's crap, wth is yours. . . .

Is there a feature in VB that requires the browser to reload each page when you go to it, sort of like authentication of sorts? I know this requires more bandwidth, but for those of us browsing from BB's it usually isn't a big deal anyway because we will be in highspeed data area. As it is we have to reload over and over again anyway . . .

Wonder if anyone is using the iPhone to browse if they have a similiar issue?

LB, I've got the Blackberry Storm. It's the full screen size one, somewhat like the iPhone is.
