    Bring the wife. Roatan is a pretty great place. Nice pool with a bar, rooms are pretty good. They have a cat island, dolphins that you can swim with, a short cab ride away is a zoo and a sloth "farm". Don't get me wrong, the diving there is excellent but my wife and I enjoyed a few days topside the last time we went. The only thing that wasn't great at AKR was the food. It wasn't horrible, but it also wasn't great. Kind of average imo.

    So are Cathy and I, except we were already fully committed; airline tickets or not!
