Thank you sponsors!!!

I didn't win the Stream2sea gift card, but want to thank them for sponsoring another Invasion. The 2022 Invasion was my first dive trip using the Leave-In Conditioner, and it is a game-changer! It is so nice not to have to spend 5+ minutes post-dive trying to get snarls out of my hair (and losing a bunch of hair in the process).

And thanks to Divers Direct for the sponsorship - I was lucky enough to win a $25 gift card! It's so fun to have gift cards and prizes at our final party, and definitely gets us all talking about the sponsors!

This was really cool to see the list of sponsors. I definitely saw a few people with Shearwater and Deep6 gear and asked them about it and what they thought about the equipment.

I was also lucky enough to win one of the gift certificates from Dive Rite in Scuba. I have some equipment from them already that I found to be very high quality and I was really happy to see that they support community events like this.

I won one of gift certificates from Dive Right In Scuba which turned out to be just what I needed.

One one of the dives, I dropped my macro lens, which is a fairly expensive thing to leave on the ocean floor. One of the other divers noticed it and picked it up, so the story ended well (Jake, I owe you a beer still). When I got back home, I looked into a better pocket to carry it in. After a quick chat on the phone with DRIS, I ended up picking up a pocket made by Highland. It mounts on a 2in web belt, is nice and oversized so is easy to put things in and take things out, and has 2 ways to secure things inside (Velcro and a bungee line).

Thanks Dive Right in Scuba for supporting the 2023 Roatan Invasion and helping me find what I was looking for.
