Dive Right In Scuba:
I have that same forum on our website....its sucks.....We have it for our customers to communicate and everything....the problem is the hackers and porn people soliciting....they log on as members and sign up...then start threads about porn or their medical stuff they are selling.....then I delet them and ten more pop up....I delet them and there are 50 more.....and the program takes forever to do the steps to delete....Looking to upgrade it this winter when things slow down at the shop...as it is...if you need Viagra, I got plenty of websites for ya

Looks like you've got about 17 total posts on your board. 3 of which are Viagra or other "interesting topics". For that low amount of board traffic, i'd just fix it so that all new account require moderator approval. that'll keep the crap posters off the board as they don't want to wait for the approval most of the time.

She looks like she's even got a system in place here.....

quite interesting and creatie idea.

check out any of her signature line posts (for example this one)

It reads: (and takes you to this link)

Every time you make a purchase from this link, 5% goes toward my college education. A big thank you goes out to each of you who contributed and to those of you who will contribute.

pretty creative huh? :D

For those who are curious... you can find this is a real affiliate program at LP that pays 5% of the referral sale.

We prefer to call it "reward". :)

Notice how her website (on her profile link here) is for web design...
She probably see's it as an empty market and is using pretty standard marketting tricks for exposure. Typically unless there is some kind of incentive or hook, they die down quickly when people keep having to cross post.

Also looks like she is using a forum hosting service (or a turn-key freebie forum software) so if even HALF of SB or ST hit that forum it would either die or force her to pay for the service.

Any girl growing up in NE who vacations in the Cape, goes to college in Boston, has the intelligence to create that board, but calls herself a "moocher" is probably an Ivy league college student with a really wealthy Daddy.

I bet she's doing it for fun or to see how far she can take it.

I would also bet on it that she doesnt need the money.

Its probably a business course project from Harvard or BU.

Hey....she seems to love diving.....and theres not much diving in Boston year round.
