My wife, bless her heart, backed out of SCUBA classes when we decided to take it up as a hobby. She's been very supportive of me continuing the sport.

So, we're hitting Caymans for 8 days in early May, staying at a condo along 7 mile beach.

Can somebody recommend some good SCUBA + snorkel opportunities for the both of us to go on? Are there some good combo type trips available for Stingray City, others?

If nothing else, we can both get some good shore diving in.

Haven't ever been to the Caymans, but most places I have gone have always had snorkelers or Bubble watchers on board as they called them. I wouldn't think it would be hard to find a dive outfit that could help you plan some trips that you could both do.

I am not aware of ANY trips which are expressly designed to combine diving & snorkelling. OTOH, most dive ops will allow a non-diver to board the boat and, if she wishes, to snorkel at the chosen dive sites. I don't know how deep she can free dive, but many of the dive sites might be deeper than her range.

The shallowest dive site, Stingray City, is just 14' so that should work for both of you.
