I recently was debating on either the MK25UL or TA regulator (Already had the Apex debate) and ended up going with the TA. I have heard rumors about not being able to use Nitrox with the regulator. I've already scanned some of the threads that talk about replacing the O-Ring due to Scuba Pros manufacturing techniques, however the guy at my local shop said I'll be fine. The jury is still out on him, he looks like he's 12.

So my questions are as follows:

Can I dive Nitrox with the 25TA? If not, can I do something so I can?

Does anyone have any experience or comments on the TA? I never here much about it.

Thanks for the help,

Kevin

PS. Also, if someone can clarify the comments about Titanium and Oxygen and whether or not I'm going to exploed with the TA model I'd appreciate it. Didn't fully understand those threads. :stupid:

The SP catalogue states that all of their regulator systems are Nitrox compatible up to 40% oxygen at 3300 psi.

With the regular MK25 they offer a kit to upgrade it to 100% O2. :)
