Hey all. Just home from the first night of my Open Water class. LOVE IT!!!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and hoping to learn a lot from the vets on here.

Can't wait to finish up my class and join the rank and file!!!

Welcome Chill179!! Where are you training? I dive the wrecks off the coast quite frequently and enjoy the warm water and the history in the area. Enjoy the Board; there are a lot of good people and good information here.

Just literally started diving last week. My second confined dive/class is tonight. My check out dive will be within a month or so. The local scuba shop (Scuba Shop Spartanburg) is where I'm getting my cert. The check out dive will be in Lake Jocassee (upstate area of SC.)

Not only do we have diving in common, Hank, I'm also a lifelong Yankees fan (albeit very casual---couldn't tell you the starting lineup right now.)
