Scuba license plates for Virginia

Hey folks,
I've been in email contact with Debi Moir, President of the Richmond Dive Club. She and I are working on consolidating an effort to get a SCUBA license plate
made by DMV. I've posted this on the yahoo group. But, wanted to contact the folks who haven't joined the group.
At this point, we are merely trying to get a count of people who would be interested in getting this plate. We need to have 300
prepaid orders before the plate can me made. That's just the first hurdle in the govermental process.
So, if you would be interested please send me an email at bmiller105@cox.net. There is no obligation at this point.
This simply a survey to see if there's going to be enough interest.
Please forward this to ANY divers you know that would likely be interested.

I say go for it. I came from Fl where they have a plate for every topic you can think of. They have anti-abortion, pro (insert any team here), hug a teacher, thank a vet, save a yellow-bellied-sap-sucker, etc etc. At last count, they had something like 40-some-odd plate available. the nice thing is that they require a back plate only so i get to have a plain-Jane red and white flag as a front plate.
