Coqui Diver:
Today I was on the Jeanne II diving the Algol and heard that the autopsy toxicology report for the diver that died at the Bald Eagle, off the Karen, was positive for heroin and cocaine.

If that's the case, he was not a diver. That's my guess.

DandyDon:
Whoa?! That's pretty strong hear-say. Could these be confirmed - either way?

Best wishes to the family and friends, should any come on here to investiage what's being said about their loss.

Only repeating what I heard. I don't have direct access to the source and these are not my conlusions. Coqui Diver

I have personally dove the Karen several times. Capt Hayes is a very competent professional. His record over the last 35 years is impecable. I have been on the boat several times this season and never met the diver who had the accident(He was not a regular). While the incedent is tragic the local word is that the diver had been using drugs and was obese.

Coqui Dove the Arundo on the Jeanne 2 last sunday great dive

NY Diving is great Deep Cold and Dark
