Welcome to the board, and to diving. As you have discovered, it's very addictive. One way to cure that addiction is to dive the CO lakes! With low vis, and not a lot to see they are a challenge, and many do it once, and do not repeat.
Many local dive shops have trips to the local lakes in the summer, and trips to the BH in the winter. The BH trips are generally training, but a group of us goes to the Blue Hole on a regular basis as the vis is good to awesome, and can be 80+ feet at times, generally determined by the number of divers in a 24 hour period.
I'm going to plan a trip to BH in March. Once I get the dates finalized, I'll post a thread, and you are welcome as are all divers interested. All LDS's offer trips the world wide at a price.
There are a few local clubs. Shark Bait is one I attend, but I have not gone for a few months (need to fix that). Check the forum on a regular basis for dive events that members plan. Things will get busier as the summer nears.
