So perhaps I am missing something obvious on their website, but can someone tell me where to find the rates for SCC? I see dive rates, but not room ones (doesn't a stay 'include' diving?)

I'm going to Cozumel on a cruise this December, but am debating going for a land vacation instead. I just don't know if I'm willing to pay so much extra money... it would be a lot more diving though. (On the cruise we'll get a day of diving in Cozumel and in Roatan, possibly Costa Maya- don't worry, I did NOT book through the cruise ship).

A local dive shop is running a trip to SCC, and the prices seem fairly reasonable, but I'm wondering what their regular rates are and I just can't find them on their website.

SCC rates are as follows:

December 20 thru Jan 3= $1175 (diver based on DBL occupancy-- $1465 single) These are the 2011 rates, but they hadn't changed when I requested rates for 2012. That includes 2 tank boat dives each day, room and 3 square meals per day.

If you want the actual rate sheet go to SCC webpage and send email requesting the rates sheet.

IMHO.... Forget the Cruise and just spend a week on the Island diving.... You will be kicking yourself in the rear if you only dive Cozumel for 2 tanks!! ;)

Thanks to you both!

Yeah- more diving would be nice, but it would be SO expensive. The cost of the 7 day cruise is like $150 more than what airfare would cost us to Cozumel. And then we'd still have to pay for a hotel...

I'm considering canceling the cruise, but budget is a huge concern. These rates do tell me that the dive shop is offering a really good deal, so that might be the way to go. Cost is still a big issue though.
