I wanted to follow up on the interest from my previous thread:

http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/norcal/359849-want-do-scuba-beach-cleanup-day.html

I'll contact the harbor master and get clearance. I'm hoping to do this sometime in February. Some questions:

1. Any suggestions for a name for this?

Dirty Wet Rascals? Dumpster Divers? Underwater Garbage Divers?

2. I've heard a group from Fresno or Sacramento also do this at the regular beach cleanup day? Anyone know which group that is?

3. Suggestions for a good day to do this?

4. Anyone know kayakers who would be interested in providing surface support?

5. Divemasters and rescue divers and instructors who can provide medical support?

6. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm emailing the harbormaster right now to see if we can get clearance.

Thanks!
