I am in dire need of a support group. Today was the last day at the local quarry for the season and I don't have the time or money to travel. HELP! Next weekend I will be in a terrilbe shape from withdrawals. :11:

Sign me up! My MTBD (Mean Time Between Dives) is up to 2 days since getting certified in June.

Why do they close it for the season? We dive year round, you know the mailmans saying, we're about the same here.

Maybe a group of divers that don't mind diving in cold water could convince them to keep it open? The only thing I find hard is it gets tougher finding dive buddies willing to dive in mid 30-s to mid 50's temps you run into. Some of them even think they need drysuits...

Seriously, approach them with others who want to continue diving and see if they'll let you, I bet they might.

Are there any aquariums in your area? Tell them that you're doing a free tank-cleaning service. I've tried to do that at Seaworld once, but they stopped me right before I back rolled into the shark encounter. They said something about liability :D .
