A friend of mine is rebuilding a TR 300 SCR TR300 » Blog Archive » TR300 He has one single o2 sensor in there and needs a display for the o2 reading. Any ideas where to get such a display? He used TR300 » Blog Archive » TR300 O2 Monitor but this display is gone. And it is to big.

He does not want to use a display which is waiting for 3 sensors, saying
1) Error
2) Error
3) ppo2=1.3
He hates error on display and does not want to get used to it. Which I fully understand.

Any ideas where to get such a display? One idea was an old VR3 but they are not reliable at all - in fact they never ever were.

Check out Lombardi Undersea, he has something that could be put into a housing.

Tecme has singular cell displays

Looks great, I sent an email and asked about uw housings incl. wiring. But I expect a plug-and-play solution will be very expensive.....

625 Euro........
320eur for analog single cell
625 is the tri sensor display that has ppco2 monitor as well

I’d try the solid state route actually since it’s the ONE cell only

Buy 200mV LCD voltmeter from aliexpress
Buy 9v battery and connector from hardware shop
Buy waterproof case suitable to fit voltmeter and 9v battery anywhere
Install hose gland onto rebreather head instead of cable gland
Put same hose gland onto case
Connect glands with suitable hose and bypass wires from cell to case
Wire all stuff to act as PPO2 gauge

This results in waterproof case with ambient pressure in it
LCD voltmeter and battery easy survive at least 5 ata ambient pressure
Yes, that's DIY way. Much cheaper than plug-and-play solution, but you need to know what you're doing
