craborn,
I worked as a BSA lifeguard at camp Tukabatchee for the summer of 05'. I had fun and would recommend the experiance to anyone who likes the scouting lifestyle. will you be diving in a pool or a lake? if a lake then what is the vis.

At scout camp we will be diving in the pool. It will be like a Discover Scuba experience. As far as our normal weeks here we dive lake Degray in Arkadelphia Arkansas. We have a great group of divers. I am looking forward to the camp this summer. I am going for training to Hunt Texas the last week of May. This is all new to me but I love kids and love the water so I believe it will be great.... THanks for the post. PS Brian were you the aquatics director..?? Thanks, Clay

Here's the BSA info you asked for:

Some key words to truly keep are 2-deep leadership, BSA water safety leadership requirements, and not deviating from the plan. As Laurelgsc wrote, you ought to be attached to a commercial shop. The kids will be excited simply by having a mask on and taking their first breath underwater, so you don't need to get fancy!
