Works better in the rain and heat than a scooter.
Wife can drive it.
Also has bumpers and a steel frame to protect the driver and passengers.

I was quoted $10 a day....a far cry from $2000...for 90days.

Ernesto's has an ocean-front restaurant down near Casa del Mar. They've been around forever. That's a decent rental deal but still $900 in three months. You can buy basic models new for that, and used for much less. I don't think you are going to find a lower rate from a rental agency. You might ask with the dive shop you will be using and you might be able to "rent" from someone there.

No cars...thank you for the offer though. We use a family Taxi on the island when needed....

Well I haven’t seen a $10 a day rate on scooters in 20 years so you must have found a deal. They must be desperate

A Honda Dio is 31k pesos new. Sometimes the rental scooters can be a little shady - I rent them every now and then from a friend and $300 per month is a pretty good rate but it's lots of money for 3 months in one way.

Message me if you want, maybe I could just buy one and sell one for you - they sell fast. I bought a motorcycle and my Honda Elite is here not getting used at all for the moment but the minute I rent it or sell it, I'll need it......
