hi, i am currently doing a school project on whaling. i have to gather all of my own research from questionairres, interviews. etc. and write a 5000 word report on the topic.

I was wondering if i could possibly have your personal opinions on the topic. If i could it would be a great help.

My own personal opinion is against whaling, howether i find that co-orperations like greenpeace are taking the matter too far with criminal activities.

There is a tv show here in the states that is on the Discovery Channel that deals with some of the extreme tactics used to counter whaling. I look at whaling much the same way I look at shark finning and both are in a negative light. Cultural issues aside, people are failing to see the overall impact that wanton destruction of wildlife perpetuates. I am afraid that within our lifetimes we are going to see even faster extinction rates of the world's fisheries and other marine life.
