SCC closed end of August

I tried to make reservations at SCC for the last week of August / first week of September. I was told the resort would be closed until September 4th. Anybody know why???

P.S. I'm definatly on the record as not being an SCC fan, so in all fairness I would like to point out that the previous comment was a joke. SCC is not in the top 5 unclean places I've stayed...
