Just for those that like the chance to get free stuff, The Scuba Shack in Florence, Ky is hosting a scavenger hunt at Blue Springs in Indiana on Sunday August 24th.
Here are the details:
The Scuba Shack's Great Underwater Scavenger Hunt is scheduled for
Sunday, August 24th at Blue Springs in Waldron, IN. Registration
begins at 10:30 AM... diving at 12:00 noon.
Early sign-up (through Thursday 8/21/03) is at The Shack... Early
sign-up cost is $25* and can be done in person or over the phone with a
credit card. (859-283-1550)
Late sign-up on Friday 8/22, Saturday 8/23, or Day of the Event is $35*.
Fee covers a "significant" lunch, non-alcoholic drinks, and
participation in the Underwater Hunt... Grand prize a Scubapro 1st &
2nd stage regulator set.
*Blue Springs entrance fee, charges for tank air fills, equipment
rental, etc. are NOT included.
I may be in the need of a dive buddy if my wife decides she really really hates quarries and doesn't want to give it a shot.
